What is paintless dent repair?
Paintless dent repair reshapes suitable metal damage without body filler or repainting. When the paint and damage are suitable, it preserves the original factory finish.
What types of dents may be suitable?
Door dings, parking dents, body-line dents, creases and hail damage can all be assessed. Suitability depends on panel material, access, metal stretch, impact sharpness, paint condition and previous repair history.
Can you confirm suitability from photographs?
Clear photographs can provide valuable context and may allow our team to identify the appropriate next step. Some vehicles still require an in-person assessment before suitability or repair scope can be confirmed.
What photographs should I provide?
For a localised dent, provide a whole-panel view and a close-up that shows the shape and location. For hail or damage you are unsure about, provide clear general photographs from different corners of the vehicle. The guided form explains each image.
Will the online assessment give me an automatic price?
No. Automotive Dent Centre reviews the vehicle information and photographs before any quote is prepared. Prices are not generated or inferred automatically from photographs.
How long does a repair take?
Repair duration varies with the number, depth, location and complexity of dents, access behind the panel and the overall condition of the vehicle. A suitable time allocation is confirmed after review.
Does PDR damage the paint?
PDR is intended to preserve the factory finish, but existing paint condition is important. Cracked, damaged, poorly adhered or previously refinished paint can affect suitability and risk.
Can you help with hail-damage insurance work?
Automotive Dent Centre assesses hail damage for private customers and supports insurance, dealership, fleet and volume-repair work. The exact process depends on the vehicle and claim circumstances.
Where is the workshop?
Automotive Dent Centre is based on the Sunshine Coast. The workshop is on private property, so the full address and arrival instructions are supplied after a visit is confirmed.
Which areas do you service?
Local enquiries are welcomed across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, broadly from Peregian Springs to Caboolture and inland to Maleny and Woodford. Contact our team if you are outside these areas.
